Carol Ormiston
2005 Inductee

Carol has been a member of the B.C. Horseshoe Association and the Victoria Horseshoe Club for 15 years.

Carol started horseshoe pitching thinking the game was easy, being a baseball player she said she could throw the ball into the catchers mitt with relative ease. Carol tried the game and the first shoe she tossed hooked the fence, and as they say the rest is history.

Carol lists the deceased and Hall Of Fame member Bernice Busch as her inspiration in horseshoes, the one who taught her what the game was all about and coached her along the way over the years.

A good sport on and off the courts, a very friendly individual, always a smile when she greets you.

Carol is truly a champion in horseshoes and well deserving og being a member of the BC Horseshoe Association Hall Of Fame.
