Colin Butts - Victoria
1990 Inductee

Colin's Accomplishments:
Colin was elected to the Hall Of Fame as an Organizor-Promoter and this is well attested.

Colin arrived in Victoria in 1953 and soon discovered an active club which he joined. He was involved in forming clubs on Vancouver Island, the Vancouver Island Pitching Association and the B.C. Horseshoe Association, serving as a director. Colin Introduced the present handicap system in Victoria for league play in the 1960's.

Colin competed at many levels, including the Canadian Championships and local tournaments, winning his share, but win or lose, always competitive.

Good work MR. HORSESHOES.
