Elyse Brunelle - Central Park
2008 Inductee


Elyse started playing horseshoes in 1994 at the North Shore Horseshoe Club.
She has excelled and has become a champion player in the sport of Horseshoes ever since that day.
Not only does she devote a lot of time to playing the game but you can always find her in helping others to improve their game, especially the junior players.
Elyse enjoys the competition and loves the camaraderie of her fellow pitchers.
Elyse is a very good sport both off and on the courts, very friendly and always ready to help out at any of the tournaments, you can always find her keeping score when she is not playing.
Elyse is now a member of the Central Park Horseshoe Club, where she is Treasurer and League Director.
She is also currently the Lower Mainland Regional Rep.

Elyse's Record:
Ladies Provincial Champion 6 times, in 2001 (62%), 2002 (62.3%), 2003 (66.5%), 2004 (62.6%), 2005 (66.2%) and 2007 (66.8%)
Elyse placed 2nd two times, in 2000 (59.3%) and 2006 (52.2%). 3rd in 1998 (55.5%) and 4th in 1999 (63.2%)

Elyse has also placed in the top 10 in both the World and Canadian Championships
Always a lady, a master of the game.
