Viviann Fendle - Penticton Horseshoe Club

Viviann was born in Hearst, Ontario in 1963 to parents Wilf and Rose Blanchard. Viviann had 4 sisters

Wilf and Rose were horseshoe players and started the Hirseshoe Club in Hearst. They taught Viviann at age 16 to pitch and they taught Vivann's sisters to pitch. Vivann's mom Rose and her sister Joanna were pitching in the A Class in Hearst, Ontario

Viviann, along with her family moved to Penticton July 1984

Vivann quit horseshoes for 20 years while she got married to Carl Fendle in 1991, than had her son Jesse in 1992

Viviann rerturned to playing horseshoes in 2005 and by 2006 was playing in the ladies A division
Viviann and her mother Rose Blanchard are the only mother, daughter duo that have each won the B.C. International Championship in the Ladies A DIVISION. Her mother Rose won in 1988 and Viviann won it in 2015

B.C. CHAMPS 2017 2(56%), 2016 3rd (59%), 2014 2nd (58%), 2012 2nd (53%), 2011 2nd (52%). 2010 rd (55%) and 2009 (54)

Ladies BC Internationnal Champion 2015 (59%), 2019 2nd (56%), 2014 (54%)%)and 2011 (56%)

Interior/Kootenay/North 5 times up to 2019

Ida Boschman taught Vivann to put an arch to her pitch by learning to pitch over a chair to perfect her pitch

She has pitched against BC,s top players, Elyse Brunelle, Doreen Muloin, Doris Wilton, Ida Boshman,Lindsay Hodgins

Vivann is a very good pitcher and a great friend to all
